Key Responsibilities
● Diagnosis and Treatment: Treating conditions affecting hearing, balance, speech, swallowing, and the respiratory system. ● Surgical Interventions: Performing surgeries for ear infections, nasal issues, sinus problems, and throat disorders. Common Conditions Treated: ● Ear: Hearing loss, ear infections, tinnitus, balance disorders.
● Nose: Sinus infections, nasal obstructions, allergies, deviated septum. ● Throat: Tonsillitis, voice disorders, swallowing difficulties, throat cancer. ● Head & Neck: Tumors, cysts, or other abnormalities in the head and neck. Common ENT Surgeries:
- Tonsillectomy: Removal of the tonsils.
- Septoplasty: Correcting a deviated septum.
- Myringotomy: Inserting tubes in the ears to treat chronic infections.
- Endoscopic Sinus Surgery: Treating chronic sinusitis.
- Laryngectomy: Removal of the larynx (for cancer).
