HR Onboarding Coordinator | Premier Healthcare Facility Location: Northern Palm Beach County, FL (100% Onsite) Compensation: $60,000 – $62,000 / year Role Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you an organized, detail-driven HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting? A top-tier acute-care hospital in South Florida is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to champion their pre-employment operations.
In this role, you will serve as the crucial bridge between a signed offer letter and day one, ensuring every new employee and contractor is fully vetted, compliant, and welcomed seamlessly into the organization. How You’ll Make an Impact Drive Full-Cycle Pre-Employment: Manage the clearance journey from initial offer through start date, coordinating background investigations, reference checks, education verifications, and drug screenings.
Oversee Occupational Health Scheduling: Book candidate appointments for pre-employment physicals and health clearances to keep starts on schedule. Ensure Regulatory & File Integrity: Build, audit, and maintain accurate new hire and contractor records to guarantee continuous compliance for state agencies and accreditation reviews (including JCAHO and AHCA).
Streamline Documentation & Systems: Complete Form I-9s, enter personnel details into the HR database, pull operational reports, and ensure all paperwork is finalized prior to start dates. Support Orientation Logistics: Maintain and distribute the New Hire Orientation tracking roster to organizational leadership before each session.
Facilitate Day-One Readiness: Assist incoming staff with access setup for platforms like Workday and Health. Stream, while overseeing parking decal compliance initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years in Human Resources, with a dedicated focus on onboarding and pre-employment workflows. Industry Background: Hospital or healthcare industry HR experience is preferred. Recruitment Exposure: Hands-on experience supporting recruitment processes is strongly preferred. Technical Acumen: Proven experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); familiarity with Workday and Health.
Stream is a strong plus. Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong self-direction, ability to manage multiple moving parts without drop-off, and solid Microsoft Office skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
