The role combines omni-channel planning and orchestration with hands-on execution, including content and asset coordination, platform and content setup, localization, stakeholder alignment, agency and technology-partner management, testing, quality assurance, launch readiness, performance reporting and post-launch optimization. The role works across marketing, loyalty, brand, technology, analytics, regional and global teams, agencies and hotel stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences, and contributes to direct-channel performance, customer engagement and revenue growth through effective omni-channel execution and continuous optimization. [Your Day to Day] Omni-Channel Planning and Orchestration

  • Develop and maintain integrated channel calendars, execution plans, work-back schedules, delivery trackers and launch-readiness documentation.
  • Personally manage or complete required content and platform setup within the assigned scope, rather than limiting involvement to coordination and status tracking.

  • Independently drive agencies, technology teams, internal stakeholders and hotel teams to maintain quality and timelines.
  • Use performance and customer-behaviour data to improve content, targeting, journeys and activation mechanics.
  1. IHG Japan-Owned Social Channel Management
  • Manage the content and activation calendar for IHG Japan-owned social channels, with a primary focus on Instagram.

  • Translate approved regional campaign direction into locally relevant deliverables across assigned omni-channel touchpoints.
  • Manage assigned deliverables across IHG.com, web/app merchandising, email, mobile push, LINE and Instagram, including setup, localization, submission, testing, QA and launch readiness.
  • Proactively secure required inputs and decisions from Global, EAPAC and Japan & Micronesia stakeholders.

  • Strong working knowledge of owned digital channels, including websites, email, mobile push, apps and social platforms.
  • Practical experience with LINE Official Account, LINE Mini. App or comparable messaging and mini-app ecosystems is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of CMS and website processes, landing-page production, digital content setup, audience requirements, campaign tracking and QA.
  • Working knowledge of analytics and search-performance tools, ideally including Adobe Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and emerging AI-search/AIO practices, including how content structure, authority, relevance and answer-oriented information can improve visibility in traditional and AI-assisted search experiences.
  • Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into executable channel and content improvements.
  • Native-level Japanese and strong business English, with the ability to independently produce and edit publish-ready content and present in both languages. Stakeholder Management and Leadership Capabilities
  • Independently identify and engage the internal and external stakeholders required to deliver an initiative.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, decision points and deadlines across cross-functional teams.

  • Confidently manage senior stakeholders, specialist teams, agencies, technology partners and hotel teams.
  • Translate effectively between business, marketing, creative, analytics and technology stakeholders.
  • Identify conflicting priorities or unclear ownership and facilitate practical resolution.
  • Exercise sound judgment on which matters can be resolved independently and which require escalation.
  • When escalating, provide context, business impact, options and a clear recommendation.
  • Create clear briefs, decision records, meeting outcomes and follow-up actions. Delivery Management, Governance and Quality Assurance
  • Independently manage assigned initiatives from briefing through execution, launch, reporting and optimization.
  • Proactively obtain inputs and drive decisions without relying on continuous direction from the Senior Manager.
  • Identify risks, delays, quality concerns and ownership gaps early, and take action to resolve them.
  • Take full ownership of Japanese and English copy and content quality, independently delivering publish-ready output without relying on review by the Senior Manager.
  • Conduct and close out end-to-end QA across copy, creative, localization, links, landing pages, setup, tracking, audience requirements, platform display and customer journeys.
  • Challenge incomplete briefs, unclear ownership, unsupported recommendations and deliverables that do not meet required standards.
  • Document processes, decisions and learnings to reduce operational dependency on individual team members.
