Job description

TheraEd Staffing Group is seeking a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) for a full-time, school-based contract opportunity for the full school year. The CBT will provide behavioral support and intervention services to students in a school setting while collaborating with teachers, school staff, and other members of the student's support team.

This is an ASAP-start opportunity for the full school year.

Key Responsibilities

Provide behavioral support and intervention services to students in a school setting. Implement behavioral strategies and intervention plans as directed by the appropriate clinical team. Collect and maintain accurate behavioral and student progress data. Support students in developing appropriate behavioral, social, communication, and functional skills.

Monitor student responses to interventions and communicate relevant observations to the appropriate team members. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other members of the student's support team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Follow school policies and student support plans. Promote a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.

Requirements

Active Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification. Ability to work full-time at 1.0 FTE. School-based experience preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with students and school staff. Availability to begin ASAP. Ability to commit to the full school year.
