Responsibilities

Operate a tractor trailer to pick up and deliver dry bulk materials Follow a predetermined schedule of pick up and delivery (single drop and return); maintain short haul (exempt) logs. No ELD required! Ability to maneuver and back truck in a safe manner Ability to operate dump valves Ability to complete required documentation Inspect truck equipment and supplies as required, including lights, brakes, fuel, oil and coolant, raising hood, climb to clean windshield and mirrors Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein Physical Requirements: Meet Department of Transportation medical, drug and alcohol qualifications Operation of vehicle up to 10 hours per day depending on schedule, 40-60 hours per week, less than 12 hours daily Cranking dolly legs on trailers when hooking up and dropping Open and close valves to handle material Climb 3 feet with steps to hook airlines May be required to work in adverse weather Requirements: Class A CDL 21 years old-minimum DMV records 3 years back Experience: 1 year preferred, Are you a new driver?
