Mining Analytics Intern

Toromont Cat is looking to hire individuals with a passion for growth within the Construction Industry experience to join our team as an intern. As an intern at Toromont Cat you will be working with “on-the-job” assignments to develop your knowledge of our products, customers, systems and business programs. As a Trainee at Toromont Cat, you will have a dedicated mentor to guide and support your development and you will also participate in various training sessions and events to support your leadership development at Toromont.

*Please note that this position is a four (4) month contract.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Post-Secondary education in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Engineering Knowledge & Experience

• Strong Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities Experience in industry standard querying tool PowerBI, SAS, R, Python, etc. Strong technical knowledge in data mining and reporting tools Experience with database concepts and SQL skills on Databases like Oracle, SQL server Effective communication and interpersonal skills
