You will lead on-site programs, track outcomes, and connect residents with the resources they need to remain stable and successful.
When needed, you may provide direct support to residents and collaborate closely with teammates to promote resident stability. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) strongly preferred. Location: Connection Angle Lake Apartments | Sea. Tac, WA Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 11am-7:30pm or 10am-6:30pm, Friday: 11am-4:30pm or 10am-3:30pm Pay: $28-30/hour, depending on experience; plus up to $2,000 sign-on bonus Benefits Early close Fridays (3 paid hours each Friday) Early close prior to a holiday (3 paid hours) Paid time off between Christmas and New Year's Day for winter office closure Several healthcare plans to choose from, dental (including a free basic dental option and plans covering child and adult orthodontia) and vision Paid time off to volunteer 15 days of earned PTO your first year, 12 company holidays + 2 floating holidays 403b + match Paid parental & caregiver leave Employer-paid life insurance Free Employee Assistance Plan Pet insurance options Duties Collect required data for designated program components and record data in the Mercy Housing database in an accurate and timely way.
Maintain all reporting requirements set by funding and/or government agencies. Evaluate outcomes of programs and services delivered on a regular basis as required. Develop a comprehensive understanding of residents (conduct needs assessments, community meetings, etc.) in order to guide them towards appropriate services and resources.
Participate in and/or lead activities within Mercy Housing and in collaboration with partner agencies that build professional capacity and enhance working relationships. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of experience in community development, social services, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years experience working with individuals with mental health issues. Two (2) years working with senior and developmentally disabled populations. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience conducting community assessments, applying the principles of conflict management, and organizing community groups, events, or programs.
Experience supervising staff. Knowledge and Skills Work collaboratively with others in a team environment, respecting the perspectives and contributions of others. Demonstrate a high level of verbal, writing, and listening skills. Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook). Maintain confidentiality and to obtain appropriate release of information as necessary.
