Job Summary
The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) can be assigned to any unit within the floating cluster assigned, per the competency without any exception. The Float Pool RN is responsible for the provision and coordination of patient centered care in the assigned area and follows the nursing process in the safe delivery of patient care.
The Float Pool RN coordinates care to achieve desired outcomes, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by delegating and working cooperatively and collaboratively with ancillary, nursing and other patient team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice and perfo
