Hours: 8AM - 4:30PM or 8:30AM - 5PM, Weekdays JOB SUMMARY Primary function is to accurately schedule patients for outpatient procedures.
Pre-register patients by entering information into computer accurately and in a professional and courteous manner. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school graduate or GED preferred. One or two years of college preferred. Experience: Hospital or similar medical facility experience. Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical or employment status or patients of Bradley Medical Center and their families.
- Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and hospital.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities.
- Communicate in an acceptable, easily understood manner.
- Responsible for scheduling of patients for outpatient procedures.
- Responsible for pre-keying patient accounts to create account number.
- Provide accurate scheduling of patients in accordance with the department scheduling guidelines.
