Manager / Senior Manager, Mainland China Legal, Compliance and Legal Department

Responsibilities

And Duties Draft, review and negotiate legal documents relating to all aspects of the bank's business based on Chinese laws and regulations Identify potential legal issues arising in business operation and providing legal solutions Be responsible to prepare relevant reports or presentations in accordance with the requirements from Head Office; and be proactively in charge of communication with Head Office.

Liaise and collaborate with external lawyers,and supervise external legal advisers Conduct legal research relate to cross border laws and regulations, and carry out legal training Review and update legal related policies and procedures Prepare various legal risk reports Supporting the Head of department in respect of legal risk management Handling ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by the Head of department and/or Head Office Job Skills And Qualifications Has PRC Legal professional qualification certificate, with at least 5 years of experience in the legal, banking industry.

Experience with top international law firms, or as in-house legal counsel with bank is preferred Has the potential and aspiration to become a capable team head for the PRC Legal team.
