Your Impact WNA is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive professional experience in our industry designing electrical building systems, and a demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to projects from the initial design through final construction.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will thrive in a collaborative, results-driven environment, contributing directly to the execution of our mission and vision. The Senior Electrical Engineer will report directly to the Electrical Team Manager and Principal in Charge (PIC). Engineer Priorities Lead in the design and quality assurance of electrical systems for a diverse portfolio of MEP projects with the emphasis in the healthcare market.
Prepare and oversee electrical engineering deliverables, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage systems, equipment sizing, and coordination studies, technical specifications, and construction documents. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables while maintaining quality standards and achieving project objectives.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering and design staff. Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures. Serve as a primary client contact for technical discussions and support business development efforts. Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, conduct site assessments, and support the construction-phase services.
Stay informed of industry advancements and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices. What You Need Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required for this position 10+ years designing electrical systems for the various MEP markets (Healthcare, commercial, etc.) Required: Proficient using AutoCAD 2021 or newer Required: Proficient using Revit 2022 or newer Expert level knowledge of building, utility, and energy codes Extensive experience in the full MEP project lifecycle from design through final construction Demonstrates a high level of personal integrity, professionalism and self awareness Brings a strong work ethic, collaborative mindset and desire to develop both self and others Possesses excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills WHY WNA Our firm continues to thrive in an ever-competitive industry where reputation matters.
