Peace Officer (Pool)

Auxiliary Pay Plan Pay Grade: 7 Days: 226 QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification High School Diploma or GED Texas Peace Officer License issued by Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Valid Texas driver's license Individual recommended for the position must pay a $46.98 fingerprinting fee by credit card as part of the application process to be considered for employment.

Special Knowledge/Skills General knowledge of criminal investigation, police report writing, and criminal laws Training and ability to subdue offenders, including use of firearms and handcuffs Bonded as required by Texas Education Code �37.081(h) Ability to pass required physical, psychiatric, and drug tests Ability to work well with youth and adults Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to communicate effectively Possess strong organizational and time management skills Experience Experience in law enforcement or related work experience
