Patient Access Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Patient Access Manager, provides leadership, support and guidance to the Patient Access Team.  Patient Access consists of Pre-Services and Registration. The supervisor is responsible for managing staff schedules to ensure coverage in multiple intake areas, auditing registration data for accuracy and correcting errors as applicable.

Provides feedback to staff on the accuracy of their work and works with all hospital departments to streamline registrations. Assists with pre-authorization and estimates for patients.
