About the Role

MCE is seeking an ASEA Service Coordinator to provide responsive customer and service support for ASEA customers. This is a fast-paced position where a strong sense of urgency is essential , particularly when a vessel is down and requires parts or a service technician. The ASEA Service Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for customer service needs, coordinate parts and service requests, communicate with internal teams, and help facilitate technician support.

The position also requires regular interaction with the warehouse, including walking between the office and warehouse multiple times throughout the day. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple urgent priorities while ensuring customers receive timely and accurate updates.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone and email. Coordinate customer requests for parts, service, and technical assistance. Prioritize urgent service needs, particularly when a vessel is down or requires immediate support. Coordinate with internal teams to help facilitate service technician dispatch when needed.

Work closely with warehouse personnel to confirm and coordinate parts availability. Visit the warehouse multiple times throughout the workday to support parts and service requests. Assist with retrieving or verifying parts as needed. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, updates, and resolutions.

Communicate status updates clearly and professionally to customers. Follow up on open requests to help ensure timely resolution. Collaborate with sales, technical support, service, warehouse, and other internal teams. Maintain knowledge of ASEA products, services, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in customer service, service coordination, parts coordination, or a related role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong sense of urgency with the ability to recognize and prioritize time-sensitive customer needs. Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, warehouse personnel, and cross-functional teams. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Ability to walk between the office and warehouse multiple times throughout the workday. Ability to work on-site in Costa Mesa, California.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in marine, technical service, parts, manufacturing, or a related environment. Experience coordinating parts or field-service requests. Familiarity with CRM systems and service documentation. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field. Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish, are a plus.
