Special Education Paraprofessional 2026-2027 *Hiring Incentive*

Job Summary

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in caring for and reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of special education students in a classroom or other learning environment; assist students with performing academic tasks, daily living/life skills, behavior management and special health care activities as assigned by classroom teachers or administrators.

00 for eligible newly hired classified employees, to be distributed in two (2) separate installments under the following conditions: First Installment ($1,000.00): Newly hired unit members will receive an initial payment of $1,000.00 on their first regular pay warrant in August 2026. Second Installment ($1,000.00): Newly hired unit members will receive a final payment of $1,000.
