Dishwasher Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team at our upscale country club. The Dishwasher plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while supporting our culinary and service teams. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, works well as part of a team, and understands the importance of cleanliness and sanitation in a high-end hospitality environment.

Essential Responsibilities: Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen, and designated service areas. Operate commercial dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and properly. Assist with putting away clean dishes, cookware, and supplies.

Remove trash and recycling and maintain clean trash areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and other tasks as needed. Maintain a professional, respectful, and team-oriented attitude at all times. Help ensure the kitchen meets the high cleanliness and presentation standards expected at an upscale country club.

Qualifications

& Requirements: Previous restaurant, hospitality, or dishwashing experience preferred but not required. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry heavy items, including boxes, cookware, dishes, and supplies.

Must be comfortable working in a hot, wet, and physically demanding kitchen environment. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and frequently lift throughout the shift. Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation. Ability to work cooperatively with chefs, servers, bartenders, and other club staff. Must be available to work days, evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Work Environment: This is a fast-paced hospitality position in an upscale country club environment. The successful candidate should be comfortable working as part of a professional culinary team and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and service. Schedule: Flexible availability required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements: This position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending and reaching, and the ability to lift and carry items as needed.
