Licensed Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
Job description
The Counselor supports patients in recovery by helping them identify strengths, set personal, educational, and vocational goals, and prepare for a drug free life. This role provides individual and group counseling, develops and updates treatment plans, maintains accurate records, and coordinates care with internal teams and community providers.
Counselors offer crisis support, follow-up services, and referrals, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and program requirements. They participate in team meetings, training, outreach, and professional development, and model respect, empathy, sound judgment, and a belief that addiction is a treatable brain disease.
