Mammography Technologist (Per Diem) - Radiology Diagnostic
Job description
Make an impact beyond the scan by helping patients feel cared for, supported, and empowered throughout their breast health journey. Mammography Technologist – Diagnostic Radiology. This is a screening only Mammography Tech position. This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting.
Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependant on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.

New graduates from accredited radiologic technology programs are strongly encouraged to apply. While onboarding and comprehensive professional development will be provided, candidates must successfully complete our mandatory 48-hour mammography training course prior to commencing employment. Required Qualifications: Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

- Mammography within 1 year of hire. Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required. Preferred Qualification: Two (2) years full-time mammography experience.
