The Armor Group, a Mason, Ohio manufacturer with more than 90 years of history, is hiring a Buyer or Senior Buyer to own sourcing, build strong vendor partnerships, and keep production moving. Full-time, Exempt | On-site, Mason, OH What You'll Do Source and qualify vendors, and negotiate contracts, payment terms, and OEM and formula pricing Manage purchase orders and supply chain activity from request to delivery Serve as the purchasing point of contact for your assigned business divisions Implement VMI programs and manage RTV items Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Accounting, and Production to keep projects on schedule What You Bring Bachelor's or Associate's degree 5+ years as a Buyer in a manufacturing environment ***Experience with made to print, Engineered and machined parts required Strong communication skills, MS Office proficiency, Excel and ERP experience Understanding of MRP planning, and basic familiarity with drawings and specifications Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure Must live within a reasonable commute of Mason, OH and be willing to work onsite 40+ hours/week Why Join Us Real impact on the products and customer commitments we deliver Room to grow within a stable, multi-division company A collaborative, respectful team culture Competitive pay and benefits.
