Senior Frontend Mobile Developer (Android / Kotlin) Senior Frontend Mobile Developer to participate in the development, enhancement, maintenance and support of Scanner mobile applications, using Kotlin-based Android development as the core technology stack.
Requirements
Must Have 5+ years of experience in Android application development 4+ years of experience with Kotlin Solid experience with Java for Android development Strong experience building, testing and maintaining native Android applications Experience using Android Studio as primary development environment Experience working with XML for UI definitions and application configurations Strong understanding of Android application lifecycle and architecture patterns Experience integrating mobile applications with backend REST APIs and enterprise services Experience consuming cloud-based and microservice-based platforms Knowledge of mobile security best practices and authentication mechanisms Experience with Git and GitHub/GitHub Enterprise Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments Experience participating in CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and Air.
Watch Strong troubleshooting, debugging and performance optimization skills Nice to Have Experience with Jetpack libraries and Android modern architecture components Experience integrating event-driven backend platforms Knowledge of AWS cloud services Exposure to enterprise mobility management platforms Experience collaborating with distributed backend teams Responsibilities Analyze User Stories and provide feedback for refinement activities.
Design, develop, test and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java. Implement user-facing functionality following mobile development best practices. Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and enterprise services. Create and maintain XML layouts, configurations and application resources. Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions. Optimize application performance, usability and reliability. Collaborate closely with Backend Developers, QA Engineers and Product Owners. Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards. Support application deployment activities through Air.
