Lead Junior Pipeline TD

The Lead Junior Pipeline TD will be a pivotal role in our client's state of the art central London studio , giving the successful candidate the exciting opportunity to work on high production TV and film projects.

Key responsibilities

Assisting the Pipeline TD to problem solve and add features to our client's existing pipeline. Use your skills to make tools and workflows to support VFX artists and VFX Production department ensuring a smooth flow of the production of shows to be able to ensure client delivery deadlines.

Requirements

Previous experience with Python coding for (any of these VFX applications): Shot. Grid Toolkit , Nuke , Hiero/Nuke. Studio ,. Maya, Houdini, Deadline Render Management System , Flask , Pyside/QT Previously worked with the VFX Environment/Pipeline advantageous. – Coding knowledge essential (Python). – Systems Administration / Computer Engineering skills.

A technical mindset and are proactive and willing to learn/improve. Team Player, who enjoys working in a team and drive the studio to succeed. Ability to listen and take instructions. Be confident to ask for help virtually and face to face. – Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. – Keen to learn and develop, bring about change and happy to open up documentation to learn.

– Proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks – A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a Technical VFX Degree, Animation
