6 Hour Special Assignment Para. Educator needed at the Daniel Hand High School (Grades 9-12) to assist teachers in general daily classroom activities and to support student(s) with identified special needs. Work Schedule: 6.0 hours per day / 185 days per year (follows the student school calendar plus 3 professional development days) Salary: $18.

22 per hour Benefits: Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Matching Funds for Defined Contribution Pension Leave Benefits: Paid sick and personal leave Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and four years of college credit or a bachelor's degree preferably in special education, psychology, social work or other human services degree with three years of experience working with individuals with emotional disabilities or autism, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certification as a Behavior Technician, Physical Management Training and / or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) recommended or demonstrated ability to obtain required training.
