Job description

An Instructional Support Specialist bridges the gap between educators and effective learning, providing curriculum development, technology integration, and teacher coaching with a focus on instructional technology. Core Responsibilities Teacher Coaching & Training: Observe classroom instruction, model best practices, and provide feedback to help educators improve lesson delivery.

Curriculum Design: Work with teachers to develop instructional materials, design engaging lesson plans, and align educational content with current state standards. Data Analysis: Facilitate the review of student assessments to identify performance trends and suggest targeted interventions. Technology Integration: Assist faculty and students with utilizing educational technologies, digital learning platforms, and accessibility tools.

Administer the state mandated testing program for middle and high school students, working closley with the school counselor Qualifications & Requirements Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Masters in School Administration preferred. Certification: In public K-12 settings, a valid state teaching license is preferred.

Experience: Three to five years of proven classroom teaching or instructional coaching experience is often preferred. Key Skills: Strong proficiency in educational technology, excellent data-driven problem solving, and highly collaborative communication.
