  • After 1 year, a 401(k) with company matching dollars up to 4%

  • Paid time off

  • We also offer great “in-house” benefits including discounted services, an employee vehicle purchase program and paid time off to volunteer.

Responsibilities

  • Remove and install windshields, back glass, door glass, and quarter glass to OEM repair procedures and the ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS 002 auto glass safety standard.

  • Prep pinch welds correctly. That means trimming urethane to the right bead height, treating bare metal and rust, and using primers the right way.

  • Pick urethane that fits the vehicle and conditions, and follow safe drive-away times every time.

  • Look up OEM repair information (GM, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, Stellantis) for glass procedures, one-time-use parts, and calibration requirements.

  • Spot vehicles that will need an ADAS calibration after glass work, such as forward cameras, rain/light sensors, heads-up displays, or lane-keep and emergency-braking systems. Flag them for our calibration team.

  • Help with static and dynamic calibrations and set up targets when needed. If you can't calibrate yet, you'll learn to calibrate though on-the-job training that will be provided.

  • Repair rock chips and short cracks using the NOVUS system.

  • Remove and install trim, moldings, emblems, cowl panels, mirrors, and clips without damaging them.

  • Do minor paint corrections like buffing, polishing, and fixing small defects for collision repairs and used-car reconditioning.

  • Document your work with photos and notes, check parts against the order, and report hidden damage or extra parts needed.

  • Keep your area clean, safe, and organized, and follow shop safety and hazardous-materials rules.

Knowledge Required

  • How auto glass works as part of the car's structure and airbag system, and why proper bonding matters for crash safety.

  • Glass types (laminated, tempered, acoustic, heated, HUD-compatible) and how to tell OEM from aftermarket glass.

  • Urethane chemistry, cure times, and how temperature and humidity affect safe drive-away time.

  • ADAS basics: which systems mount to or near the windshield, the difference between static and dynamic calibration, and when OEM procedures require a calibration.

  • How to find and read OEM repair procedures and position statements.

  • The basics of corrosion protection and refinishing.

Skills

  • Cutting glass out cleanly without damaging paint, dash, or pinch welds, using cold knives, wire systems, power tools, and the right setting tools.

  • Applying a consistent urethane bead and setting glass accurately.

  • NOVUS chip and crack repair.

  • Removing trim and clips without breaking them.

  • Machine buffing and polishing to blend in minor paint defects.

  • Basic scan-tool and calibration-target setup, or a strong willingness to learn it.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality checks before the car leaves your bay.

Abilities

  • Working on your own and with the body, paint, calibration, and recon teams.

  • Handling large glass safely, with a partner or setting tools as needed.

  • Juggling collision repairs and recon work while keeping cycle times on track.

  • Talking clearly with estimators, managers, and the calibration team.

  • Following written procedures exactly, even when nobody is checking.

Qualifications

  • 0-5 years of auto glass installation experience (collision or mobile glass experience is a plus).

  • AGSC (Auto Glass Safety Council) Technician certification preferred, or willingness to get it.

  • I-CAR training preferred. You'll be expected to complete the I-CAR courses that keep us at Gold Class and meet our OEM certification requirements.

  • NOVUS chip repair experience preferred.

  • ADAS calibration experience is a plus. We'll train the right person.

  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record (needed for dynamic calibrations and moving vehicles).

  • We are an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. We are committed to providing a safe, drug-free work environment. Applicants must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug test. *
