Exciting things are happening at FMA Animal Hospital! We're preparing to move into a brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital this year, creating an incredible opportunity for team members to grow their careers in a modern, innovative environment built with both patients and employees in mind. We are seeking a Kennel Technician to join our team!
In this role, you will focus on patient husbandry and care as well as general housekeeping duties throughout the hospital. You will provide meals and walks to boarding patients, administer medication, and monitor for any medical or behavioral concerns while providing detailed documentation about your observations. You will ensure kennels, common spaces, and treatment areas are sanitized and well stocked with supplies.
This is a Part-Time position, with flexible scheduling options, and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities :
- Provide attentive care to boarding dogs and cats
- Feed, walk, and monitor pets for health and behavior changes
- Clean kennels and hospital areas as needed
- Check boarding clients in and out
Minimum Qualifications & Skillset:

1+ years of experience as a veterinary kennel assistant / kennel technician preferred

Will consider related experience within animal care such as boarding / doggy daycare attendant, FFA or 4H background

Must be a self-starter who can work independently

Punctual and reliable

Desire for knowledge & growth in the veterinary field

Willing to work holidays and weekends

Excellent communication & customer service skills
