Job Description: The Info-comm technology (ICT) Trainer will have the following job scope: Plan, develop and customized ICT curriculum and resources according to school’s ICT plan Applied Learning Programme (ALP) ICT skills-based training (storyboarding, videography, infographics, etc) Character Citizenship and Education (CCE) ICT skills-based training (Cyberwellness and Media Literacy) Coding and computational thinking (e.
g. micro:bit coding) Plan and conduct customized ICT lessons for students in school Assess students’ skills training development Provide and oversee the ICT training for Robotics Club (coding with Micro:bit); 15 Secondary 1 students, 20 Secondary 2 students and 30 Upper Secondary students twice a week, estimated 2 hours per session.
Mentor, prepare and train students to take part in ICT or multimedia related competitions Support external competitions by providing specific ICT skills (e.g. videography, video editing, software familiarization, etc) Target Group: Secondary 1 - 2 students and selected Secondary 3 classes Support Teachers To provide consultancy to teachers in the production of ICT infused lessons.
Plan and execute e-Learning administration and support e.g. onsite access to school computer lab, support Call Centre, support e-Learning resources creation assistance for teachers. Support School Responsible for multimedia related projects in the school (including but not limited to) such as school videos, events photography, graphics design, etc.
Cover photography, videography for school events Carry out AV duties (oversee by the ICT Manager) when necessary for school (e.g. setup of AV equipment for morning assemblies, national exam, AV inspection and maintenance with external vendor, etc) To assist with any ad-hoc duties assigned by the ICT HOD Requirements Job Requirements: Qualifications Diploma in Information Technology, Computing or equivalent, or Info.
Comm related courses. MOE Registration of Trainer The candidate supplied by the Contractor shall be registered with the Ministry of Education and remain registered with the Ministry of Education throughout the Contract period. Skills and Personality Requirements Candidate must possess skills in Google Docs, Microsoft Office applications, Website Design and Programming, Photo and Video Production/Editing applications, Web 2.
0 tools and Micro:bit coding. Be a motivated, creative and meticulous individual who is able to write and communicate effectively in English, and be able to work well with others in a team. Possess good interpersonal and customer-oriented skills in the area of staff support. Ability to work under pressure, multi-task in fast-paced environment and pick up new IT skills as required.
Experiences Instructors should be competent to handle the tasks and responsibilities assigned. All Instructors should have at least two years of ICT coaching experience. Candidates with prior working experience in a school environment is preferred i.e. know how to coach students of age 13 to 15 years.
