PAY RANGE

$19.79-21.60/Hour MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Current Maine CHRC (Active fingerprints with Dept. of Education or ability to obtain) Citizenship, residency or work visa required Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment physical DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clean assigned areas of the school, including classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, and common areas Vacuums and cleans floors Removes trash Maintains outside areas of the school during winter months as needed Works cooperatively with the head custodian and coworkers QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Strong work ethic and attention to detail Required to have prompt, regular attendance for scheduled hours Must be able to work on your feet for several hours a day and lift up to 50lbs as needed PHYSICAL ABILITIES AND WORKING CONDITIONS The physical abilities, working conditions and other conditions of employment listed in this document are representative of, but are not intended to prove an exhaustive list of the requirements for positions in this classification.

Hearing: Ability to tolerate exposure to noisy conditions Environmental Requirements: High dust, dirt environment. Regular exposure to moving machinery and/or vehicles. Regular exposure to weather including heat, cold, dampness and/or humidity. Other Requirements: Ability to understand and follow verbal or basic written instructions.
