Position Identification 13407 Closing date 29 October 2026 Operating Model Entity Integrity Gas & Ekandustria Location Maputo Purpose of Job The Manager Stakeholder Relations & Communication is responsible for developing and implementing both the stakeholder engagement plan and the internal and external communication plans, and for managing the sponsorships and events portfolio as a platform for stakeholder engagement and brand visibility.

Leading a team of four specialists, the role gives effect to the Mozambique Corporate Affairs Strategy through integrated plans and optimises the systems, processes and channels through which they are delivered. The role builds and sustains constructive relationships with stakeholders, identifies emerging threats and opportunities, and works across all Sasol Mozambique entities, thereby protecting and enhancing Sasol’s reputation as a responsible corporate citizen and its social licence to operate and grow.

Key Accountabilities Stakeholder Relations

• Develop and execute appropriate engagement plans with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement integrated engagement tactics and activities that give effect to the Corporate Affairs Strategy in the country.
• Monitor and alert relevant Sasol management of threats and opportunities that could impact or enhance Sasol’s presence and reputation in-country.
• Coordinate engagement led by executives with the Government and regulators to ensure alignment and support for Sasol’s initiatives and operations.
• Coordinate team-based community relations engagement, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with local communities.
• Manage stakeholder mapping, prepare communications to stakeholders and respond to stakeholder enquiries.
• Provide briefings and support to the leadership team for meetings with stakeholders. External Communication
• Develop and implement an effective and appropriate external communication plan, and its execution programme, to enhance Sasol’s reputation in the country.
• Lead the management of Sasol em Moçambique's dedicated digital platforms, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
• Implement the 360-degree integrated communication plan using a range of available channels and tools.
• Act as the editor of the Sasol em Moçambique’s publications, overseeing content creation, layout, and distribution.
• Handle the communication response to crisis situations that affect organisational perception and reputation.
• Develop and implement the integrated content and brand plan, including online media target setting.
• Conduct media monitoring and social listening, and manage campaigning, monitoring and moderation across social media and online channels. Internal Communication
• Manage internal communication, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and values.
• Ensure that organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees.
• Drive internal communication campaigns for key projects and initiatives.
• Manage the drafting of messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form.
• Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and departments.
• Align internal communication messages with the external communication plan to maintain coherence and integrity.
• Work in close collaboration with the Human Resources team to improve employee engagement. Sponsorships and Events
• Develop and implement the sponsorships and events plan, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and stakeholder expectations, and appropriate branding in all events.
• Maintain effective communication with key external stakeholders and ensure project branding visibility.
• Support internal client-departments on ad-hoc event projects, ensuring corporate guidelines are met while creating positive experiences. Team Leadership and Resource Management
• Lead and manage the performance of the stakeholder relations and communication team, setting priorities, allocating work and ensuring delivery to agreed standards and timescales.
• Provide guidance, coaching and technical direction to the specialists, building capability and ensuring the consistent application of Sasol standards, policies and procedures.
• Consolidate team reporting into periodic reports for the Corporate Affairs, the Country Management and the Group Operating Unit.
