Diesel Mechanic — Williston, ND Poff's Power Solutions | Full-Time | Shop-Based | $28.00–$32.00 DOE | Benefits | Overtime Available Poff's Power Solutions is a growing fleet maintenance and mechanical services company serving the oilfield, commercial, and fleet markets out of our Williston, North Dakota shop. We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and heavy equipment Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, steering, suspension, and brake systems Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and sound troubleshooting practices Complete inspections and identify additional maintenance needs Support field service calls when needed Keep accurate repair records and communicate findings with supervisors and customers Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Who You Are Experience as a diesel, heavy equipment, fleet, or oilfield mechanic Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems Ability to work independently and efficiently Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic Welding experience is a plus but not required The Work Environment Our Midland shop services a wide variety of fleet vehicles and oilfield equipment, providing steady work and opportunities to expand your skills.
