Title: Safety Sales Specialist Who We’re Looking For: Are you passionate about creating safer work environments and guiding organizations toward compliance excellence? Join our team as a Safety Sales Specialist, where you'll collaborate with customers to build a robust safety culture, provide expert compliance support, and develop tailored safety programs.

Your knowledge of OSHA, state, and site-specific safety requirements, and your skill at helping contractors find practical ways to meet them, along with engaging training sessions, will drive safety improvements across various industries. You'll play a crucial role in driving sales through targeted safety categories, supporting our sales team with product knowledge, and ensuring competitive pricing.

Provide expert guidance and support to customers on safety and environmental compliance matters. Develop customized safety programs and training modules based on client needs, utilizing available training resources. Conduct dynamic and interactive safety training sessions at client sites, offices, or at Acme Tools facilities.

Establish and maintain rapport with Safety Directors and management of client companies, fostering trust and confidence in our services. Advise contractors on practical strategies and products to meet federal (OSHA), state, and site-specific safety requirements. Attend and contribute to construction progress meetings at the request of customers, offering valuable input on safety considerations.

Specialize in key safety categories including fall protection, respiratory equipment, eye protection, hard hats, mining safety, OSHA safety training, silica dust compliance, welding, and painting. Develop strategies and business plans for growth in safety categories, driving initiatives to achieve short and long-term revenue goals.

Ensure accurate and competitive pricing across safety categories, providing valuable insights to purchasing teams. Train and support Acme Tools sales teams in all aspects of safety products, serving as a resource for product knowledge and sales strategies. Act as the face of Acme Tools, representing the company at association meetings and industry events as assigned.

Commitment to ongoing education and staying up to date with the latest industry trends. Assist B2B customers to establish and maintain strong relationships with client companies, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored safety solutions. Advise contractors on project-specific safety plan requirements, such as emergency procedures and designated safety personnel, before work begins.

Assist the stores with product selection as well as forecasting and recommending new products. Responsible for driving sales through targeted categories. Need-To-Haves: Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience 5 years of industry experience with an emphasis on safety and compliance Strong leadership skills to effectively communicate, coach, train, motivate, and develop employees Proven experience in B2B customer relationship management and sales Ability to travel overnight 25-30% Must have prompt and reliable attendance Love-To-Haves: Familiarity with project-specific safety plans and jobsite safety requirements Qualified Safety Sales Professional (QSSP) certification OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification Certificate programs from the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Experience with coaching and training internal employees Prior knowledge or use of tools and equipment *Employment offers are contingent on a drug screen and background check.
