$5000 Signing Bonus GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the direction of the Supervisor of Autism Services, responsible for the implementation of the ABA benefit for eligible consumers under the age of 21 years with an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. The BCBA will primarily work within the Autism Program designing, implementing, training, and monitoring applied behavior analysis interventions but may be assigned to other appropriate clinical cases for the provision of ABA, including but not limited to developmentally disabled children and adults.
The individual functions as part of an inter-disciplinary team and services are delivered both in an outpatient clinic setting and in-home. The BCBA will have responsibility for direct oversight of ABA services delivered by ABA Technicians. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) AND licensed in the state of Michigan as a Behavior Analyst, AND one (1) year clinical experience with children having an autism spectrum disorder.
Additional Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license, current insurance, and use of a vehicle during working hours. Ability to physically perform the tasks. Preferences: Master’s in Psychology and Michigan Limited License Psychologist (LLP) credential, or Master’s in Social Work and Michigan Master’s Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential, Clinical or a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Familiarity in the administration of the ADOS-2, ADI-R, SCQ, MCHAT, ABLLS-R, V-MAPP. Essential Physical Demands: Vision – Position requires the ability to visually assess details at both near and far distances, as well as to perceive depth and spatial relationships with or without reasonable accommodations. Hearing – Position requires the ability to receive and respond to verbal communication with or without reasonable accommodations.
Lifting, Standing, and Walking With or Without Reasonable Accommodations: Position requires the ability to lift up to 35lbs on an occasional basis Position requires the ability to regularly stand for extended periods of time Position requires the ability to walk at a minimum of 35% up to a maximum of 65% Position will require the ability to occasionally stoop, bend, or reach to perform work tasks with or without reasonable accommodation Position must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including the use of hands and fingers for handling, grasping, typing, writing, or operating equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.
