Job Summary
This role serves as a key catalyst in the US frontline artist royalty process, overseeing end-to-end royalty setup and compliance of the client. This role ensures accurate creation, maintenance, and linkage of artist royalty accounts, manages agreement tracking and royalty term analysis, and supports SOX audit controls.
The position requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with SAP and EROS systems, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
Royalty Reporting AP Master Data Administration Create and maintain US artist royalty accounts in SAP. Edit critical account coding (company code, profit center, talent ID, artist type) impacting financials. Manage account linking in FRED for integration with Ariba. Contract & Agreement Management Track recording label and license agreements via SharePoint.
Analyze agreements and prepare royalty term data briefs. Enter royalty terms into Aeros and review for accuracy. Royalty Setup & Compliance Administer BA rate confirmation process for new projects. Ensure segregation of duties and maintain SOX audit evidence. Generate weekly and quarterly status reports for royalty operations.
Union Reporting Calculate and render semiannual payments to AFM and SAG-AFTRA. Prepare quarterly reports for new use licenses and manage pass-through payments. Portal Administration Oversee US artist royalty statement portal. Troubleshoot registration issues and validate vendor codes. Mandatory Strong understanding of royalty reporting.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for cross-functional collaboration. Ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Proficiency in SAP 4/HANA, Vistex, EROS, MUR, Ariba, and digital reporting systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
