Home Visitor

The Home Visitor position conducts visits within a family's community, focusing on optimizing the health and development of young children. This position works with parents and caregivers to provide support, advocacy, and service coordination using trauma informed and curriculum-based approaches. Outcomes will foster self-sufficiency, prenatal care, positive parenting and family dynamics, health and wellness, family safety and child development.

The Home Visitor is responsible for completing full training on the evidence-based Parents as Teachers program and implementing the home visits in full fidelity.
