Coat, Inc. is a leading U.S. paint and coatings applicator serving window and door manufacturers from multiple facilities across the country. We are growing our Milton, PA team and looking for experienced spray painters who know their way around an HVLP spray gun and take pride in producing a consistent, quality finish.
Experience doesn't have to come from window and door manufacturing. If you have professional spray-painting experience in automotive collision repair, auto body painting, industrial coatings, manufacturing, cabinetry, finishing, or a similar environment , your skills may transfer very well to what we do. This is a hands-on production painting position primarily performed in a professional spray booth environment.

Coat What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of professional spray application and is ready to learn our process.
Successful candidates should have: Experience using HVLP spray guns Experience working in a spray booth or professional coatings environment Understanding of proper spray technique and achieving a consistent finish Ability to recognize colors and identify finish or coating issues Strong attention to detail Ability to follow paint-mixing ratios and specifications accurately Ability to measure liquids using measuring cups and ounces Ability to disassemble, clean, reassemble, and properly maintain a spray gun Ability to work at a consistent, productive pace Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work cooperatively as part of a production team What You'll Do As a Production Spray Painter, you will be responsible for applying coatings to window and door products while meeting Color.
Coat's quality, safety, and production standards.
Responsibilities include
Learn and understand the painting area, spray booth, oven, and related equipment Prepare and mix coatings according to manufacturer and supplier specifications Determine the amount of paint needed based on the production schedule Ensure required paint and mixing supplies are available Prepare and sand surfaces when repainting is required Apply coatings using proper HVLP spray techniques Produce a consistent finish that meets customer specifications and Color.
Coat quality standards Verify that the correct coating and color are being used Paint and document samples for each new lot of paint as required Identify preparation or finish issues and communicate them to the appropriate team member or manager Disassemble, clean, maintain, and reassemble spray guns Keep the paint lane, spray booth, tools, mixing equipment, and mixing area clean and organized Monitor paint gun performance, air supply, paint quality, and booth conditions and report problems promptly Notify management when paint, filters, or other supplies need to be reordered Replace paint booth and oven filters as required Learn customer-specific coating and finish requirements Learn the basic mechanics and operation of equipment used in the painting process Follow all required safety procedures and properly use and care for assigned PPE Maintain established quality and production pace Work cooperatively with production team members and leadership Perform other related duties as assigned Equipment Used This position may work with or around: HVLP spray guns Paint booths and ovens Air compressors and air-supply systems Paint agitators and drums Mixing and measuring equipment Pallet jacks Drill presses Hand and production tools Respiratory Protection & Safety Because this position involves the professional application of paints and coatings, employees are required to follow Color.
Coat's respiratory protection and PPE requirements. Candidates must be able to complete the applicable medical evaluation and respirator fit testing required for the position. Color. The position may also require stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, or balancing. Employees must be able to regularly lift and/or move materials weighing up to 100 pounds , with assistance or material-handling equipment when appropriate. The position requires the ability to distinguish colors and visually evaluate coating quality and finish.
Work Environment This position is primarily performed in and around a manufacturing paint booth and curing/dryer system. Employees work with paints, coatings, solvents, and other materials used in the industrial coating process. Required PPE, respiratory protection, safety training, and equipment are provided in accordance with applicable requirements.
The manufacturing environment may be loud and may include moving mechanical equipment and occasional wet or humid indoor conditions. Bring Us the Skill. We'll Teach You Our Process.
