PRN Physical Therapist Assistant – Consistent Weekday Hours Location: The Long Community | Lancaster, PA Benchmark Therapies is looking for a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at The Long Community in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This position works with residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living only.

It’s a nice fit for a PTA who enjoys working with older adults and helping them stay strong, mobile, safe, and independent in their day-to-day lives. We’re also looking for something a little more consistent than a typical PRN arrangement. Ideally, we’d love to find someone who has regular weekday availability and wants the flexibility of PRN while still being a familiar part of the therapy team and community.

At Benchmark, we try to keep things simple. We want our clinicians to feel trusted, supported, and able to focus on providing thoughtful, individualized care. What You’ll Do Provide physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Work with residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, safety, and independence Follow individualized treatment plans based on each resident’s needs and goals Work closely with the PT and the rest of the therapy team Complete documentation accurately and on time Get to know the residents you work with and help them stay active and confident in their daily routines Schedule This is a PRN position with consistent weekday hours available.

We’re hoping to find someone who can offer regular availability during the week, rather than someone looking only for occasional or weekend coverage. The exact days and hours can be discussed based on your availability and the needs of the community. We’re a smaller, therapist-led company, and we’ve intentionally stayed that way. Our clinicians have access to leadership, supportive teams, and room to use their clinical judgment without feeling like everything has to fit into a one-size-fits-all approach. Our PRN roles are flexible, with no monthly minimum requirement.
