Director of Dietary

We are looking for a Director of Dietary at Howard Memorial Hospital. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages the daily operations of the Dietary Department.
• Develops the capital and operating budgets for Dietary Department.
• Plans and directs the activities of purchasing food supplies, storage and inventory of supplies and budgeted costs per meal.
• Coordinates departmental activities to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures. Secondary Functions: All other duties required for ordering, purchasing food from licensed vendors, and following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED
• Certified Dietary Manager required
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years’ management experience preferred. Howard Memorial Hospital is a 20-bed Critical Access Hospital in Nashville, Arkansas.
