Nanny / Household Assistant (PT) Job #: J2390 Position Details: Part-Time, Live-Out Location: Buchanan, NY Schedule: Monday-Friday Hours: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM (25 Hours per Week) Compensation: $30–$35 per hour, W2 (on the books) Start Date: November 2, 2026 We are seeking a dependable, caring, and organized Part-Time Nanny / Household Assistant to care for a 6-year-old boy while providing light household support.

The ideal candidate is nurturing, proactive, and capable of balancing childcare responsibilities with maintaining an organized home. Approximately 75% of the role will focus on childcare, with the remaining 25% dedicated to light household duties.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare (75%): Pick up the child from school and transport him to after-school activities. Provide homework assistance and support daily routines. Prepare simple meals, reheat food, and serve snacks as needed. Ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Provide attentive supervision and age-appropriate activities.

Household Support (25%): Perform light housekeeping and general tidying. Assist with basic household organization and upkeep. Water indoor and outdoor plants as needed. Let the family dog outside when necessary. Assist with occasional light household management tasks. Provide additional household support as needed.
