• Hotel, The Room Attendant ensures a spotless, comfortable stay for every guest. You’ll clean and refresh guestrooms to brand standards, restock amenities, report maintenance issues, and deliver friendly, efficient service with pride in every detail.

Key Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and reset rooms (beds, bathrooms, floors, surfaces, balconies/kitchenettes where applicable) per SOP and inspection standards. Linen & Amenities: Replace linens/terry; restock amenities, coffee/tea, and collateral; follow par levels and sustainability guidelines. Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report defects (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, furniture) via radio/CMMS; tag rooms out-of-service when needed.

Safety & Compliance: Use chemicals/equipment safely; follow PPE, OSHA, SDS, privacy, and key-control policies. Cart & Storage: Keep carts stocked and organized; maintain clean closets/back-of-house areas; minimize waste and breakage. Public Areas (as assigned): Support hallway/lobby touch-ups to ensure consistent cleanliness.

Service Mindset: Greet guests warmly, respond to requests, and escalate concerns to leadership. Documentation: Complete daily room credits, checklists, and lost & found procedures accurately and on time.

Qualifications

Housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (will train reliable candidates). Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and standard operating procedures. Detail-oriented, organized, dependable; positive, team-first attitude. Basic English required; bilingual (e.g., Spanish/English) preferred. Flexible availability, including weekends/holidays; reliable attendance.

Physical Requirements Stand/walk for extended periods; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching. Lift, push, or pull up to 30-40 lbs (linen bags, vacuums, carts). Work around cleaning chemicals (training/PPE provided).
