Paramedic Lead

Serves as Shift Lead for assigned shift. The Paramedic Lead is responsible for the day-to-day work of others. Provides emergency medical services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Sets goals, assigns tasks, delegates duties, with clear definitions of success as well as targets. Disseminates information, reviews policies and procedures, ensures quality and communicates with EMS leadership and assigned shift personnel.

Helps facilitates the integration of new employees to the team. Responsible for assisting with employee performance appraisals, employee discipline and recognition of achievements. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have a minimum of five years of experience working on an emergency response ambulance.

Previous supervisor experience preferred.
