Appliance Repair Technician We are looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined Appliance Repair Technician to join our Repair team at RC Willey. This position will primarily focus on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing appliances in our warehouse, while also assisting with furniture and other merchandise repairs as needed.

We are willing to train the right candidate who has strong mechanical ability, problem-solving skills, and an interest in learning appliance repair. As you gain experience and become fully trained, there may also be opportunities to perform appliance repairs in customers’ homes. Field repair opportunities may provide the potential for additional compensation based on the work performed.

Pay: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule Monday through Saturday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Sundays off, plus one additional day off during the week Benefits Paid time off starting on your first day Medical, dental, and vision insurance 7 paid holidays plus Sundays off Employee merchandise discounts Company medical clinic Paid parental leave Employee referral program Life insurance 401(k) with company match Wellness incentives Annual profit sharing Tuition reimbursement Career advancement opportunities Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of household appliances Perform appliance repairs and replace damaged or defective components as needed Inspect merchandise for damage and determine appropriate repair solutions Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other repair equipment safely Assist with furniture, upholstery, wood, and other merchandise repairs as needed Assist in repairing products damaged during transportation, warehousing, or delivery Move, organize, and track repair merchandise throughout the warehouse Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Once trained and qualified, may have opportunities to perform appliance repairs in customers’ homes for additional earning potential Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Previous appliance repair, maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or related experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn how to diagnose and repair appliances Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong attention to detail and follow-through Excellent communication and customer service skills Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed Must be at least 18 years of age To help keep our associates and customers safe, we perform a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
