JOB PURPOSE The Electronics Production Assembler will perform any combination of the following tasks to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems: Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY Accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of work performed Perform basic soldering of SMT and Through Hole Components Perform visual inspections of Surface Mount Assemblies Work in a team environment to achieve Quality and Throughput Interpret IPC-A-610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals Perform other duties as assigned by either the Quality/Production Manager or the Shop Floor lead person NOTE: The proceeding examples are representative of the assignments and responsibilities performed by this position and are not intended to be all-inclusive.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Credential Required: High School or GED Diploma Experience Required: Prior electronics experience and or experience working in a manufacturing environment Preferred: 2-3 years of production electronics experience Special Knowledge/Skills Required: Must be familiar with/able to use hand tools, electric screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, etc.
