Job Site Superintendent

Hight Construction is seeking an experienced Jobsite Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects and lead crews with professionalism, accountability, and strong communication. Responsibilities

& Main Activities Oversee daily jobsite operations from project start to completion Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, schedules, and field personnel Maintain project quality, productivity, and safety standards Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction schedules Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, inspectors, and crews Conduct site inspections and address issues proactively Track progress and ensure work is completed according to plans and timelines Maintain organized jobsite documentation and reporting Enforce company safety policies and jobsite expectations Mentor and support field employees and younger tradespeople Skills & Qualifications Previous superintendent, foreman, or leadership experience in commercial construction Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety practices Ability to manage multiple tasks and crews efficiently Experience coordinating subcontractors and scheduling work activities Ability to read blueprints and construction documents Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Computer and communication skills preferred Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Personal Attributes We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and organized Confident leading crews and holding standards Professional and respectful in communication Self-motivated with strong initiative Safety-focused and detail-oriented Able to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively Invested in developing the next generation of construction professionals Physical & Work Demands Ability to walk active jobsites throughout the day Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Occasional lifting, climbing, bending, and ladder work Ability to respond to changing jobsite demands and schedules Willingness to travel to project locations as needed Benefits At Hight Construction , we believe commitment and loyalty should be rewarded.
