Job description
Machine operator - 1st & 2nd shift Openings: VMill, VMC, Bender, CNC, End Mill, and Saw Operators Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment including according to production requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications Qualifications Experience working in a production or fabrication environment is preferred Basic reading, writing, and math skills as well as the ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Ability to assemble and fabricate components Understanding of tooling and tooling requirements for different machining operations Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control Reliability and proven attendance at past jobs Benefit Package Two (2) weeks of vacation, on an accrual system Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance after 30 days of employment on the 1st of the month 10 Paid Holidays 401K Plan with company match (50% up to 5%) Company Health Savings Account contributions ($500-$1800) Sign-On Bonus $500 Maternity/Paternity Pay Paid time off for birthdays Childcare reimbursement Gym Reimbursement Fun Activities & Prizes throughout the year Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls.
The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, talk, or hear. Ability to lift 10lbs on a consistent basis Ability to lift 10-25lbs on a frequent basis Ability to lift 25-50lbs on an occasional basis Ability to stand for 10 hours per day Must be able to work overhead on a frequent basis Must be able to work shoulder level on a seldom to frequent basis Must be able to have a complete range of movement of the arms and wrist Hand dexterity and hand grip Ability to complete repetitive functions on a rotational basis The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
