Staff Assistant

Staff Assistant – Baystate Midwifery and Womens Health | Baystate Health Baystate Health is seeking a full-time Staff Assistant to support the Midwifery and Womens Health team at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys providing administrative support and working collaboratively with leaders and staff across a healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other administrative materials
• Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and department communications
• Receive and respond to telephone calls, visitors, and routine inquiries
• Maintain department records, files, and administrative systems
• Assist with department budgets, purchasing, invoices, and expenses
• Collaborate professionally with hospital leadership, medical staff, and colleagues Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of office or medical practice experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets Schedule & Location:
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday, business hours
• Approximately 8:00a-5:00p

Education

GED or HiSET (Required) Certifications: Compensation Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience.
