Personal Financial Consultant

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial assessments and analyze clients' financial situations
• Develop and present customized financial plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals
• Recommend appropriate financial products and services, including investments, insurance, and banking solutions
• Monitor and review clients' portfolios regularly, making adjustments as needed
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic conditions, and financial regulations
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively acquire new clients
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of financial services
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies
• Participate in financial literacy programs and community outreach initiatives Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a similar role
• Valid license(s) for selling financial products and providing financial advice in Malaysia
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and risk management strategies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office suite
• Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional language skills are a plus
