Shift Lead - Quality & Safety

Shift Lead – Quality & Safety Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shift Lead – Quality & Safety to support daily quality and safety activities within our manufacturing facility. This position will help ensure products meet quality standards, employees follow safety procedures, and operations maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor production processes to ensure products meet established quality standards. Conduct routine quality inspections and identify defects or nonconforming products. Support and promote workplace safety policies and procedures. Lead shift-level safety activities, inspections, and safety meetings. Identify potential safety hazards and work with leadership to implement corrective actions.

Assist with investigating quality concerns, safety incidents, and near misses. Maintain accurate quality and safety documentation. Communicate quality and safety concerns to supervisors and management. Train and coach employees on quality expectations and safe work practices. Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, waste, and workplace hazards.

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing experience required. Experience in quality control, safety, or a lead role preferred. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to lead and influence employees while promoting teamwork. Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.

Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and quality standards preferred.
