Lift Operator

Job Details: Job Location: Cascade Mountain

• Portage, WI, Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00Hourly, Role and Responsibilities: Lift attendants and operators are responsible for the safety of our guests as they get on and off the lifts. You must become very familiar with the operation of the various types of lifts and know how to instruct and help the guest to load and unload. The specific duties of Lift Attendant shall include but not be limited to: In constant contact with our guests Must be friendly and helpful when greeting and assisting them Making eye contact with the guest is essential Work will be outside for the entire shift, in all types of weather including extreme conditions Must be agile on soft and hard packed snow Must be able to walk safely down the slopes May be performing lift maintenance May be de-icing towers and clearing snow May be assigned to work the Magic Carpet lift in Tube Town Qualifications: Requirements: Will be working in all weather for long periods of time frequently in extreme weather conditions. Physically able to hold chairs while Guest load and unload. Physically able to swing loaded chairs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Snow shoveling required Able to be on your feet for the entire shift. Minimum age requirement is
