(S) Lifeguard

Lifeguard Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations Actively guards and scans the pool area at all times Communicate and enforce all MaSU pool policies and rules in a personable and professional manner Attend and participate in regular in-service training Provide a welcoming environment for all patrons Compensation: $15/hour Hours: Vary based on student schedule and can include mornings 9:30-10:30 am, evenings 4-8 pm or weekends when special events are scheduled.

Required Qualifications: All successful candidates must be currently certified or able to obtain certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and CPR A skills test will be required prior to beginning employment For applicants not certified, we will provide a training class prior to employment Strong customer service including effective communication
