Job description

RA Holdings , through our AIM Services Inc. branch, is seeking an experienced Asbestos & Demolition Supervisor to join our team in the Sanford, NC area. This is a full-time, direct-hire position for an experienced supervisor looking for stable, long-term employment with a growing company. We are looking for a team-oriented, hands-on leader who can effectively lead crews while also being willing to work alongside them in the field.

Our supervisors are an active part of the team and are expected to step in, support the crew, and help get the job done. AIM Services is an environmental, abatement, remediation, HAZMAT, and demolition contractor founded in 2003.

They are a SWaM-certified small business with offices located in Virginia, Maryland, District of Colombia, North Carolina, and projected growth across the East Coast. Their teams provide specialty contracting services within government, maritime/shipboard, industrial, commercial, and residential projects within a region.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and support hands-on the asbestos abatement and demolition crews ranging from 1-40 on commercial, industrial, military and government projects. Coordinate daily job site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Train and mentor crew members on proper abatement procedures, safety practices, and company standards.

Perform demolition work, including selective and structural demolition, removal of building materials and components, site cleanup, and proper handling and disposal of debris. Perform asbestos and lead abatement work, including removal, containment, and proper disposal of hazardous materials. Set up and oversee containment areas using plastic sheeting, negative air machines, and decontamination units.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company safety regulations related to hazardous materials handling. Wear, inspect, and enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirators on all job sites. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments within containment zones and surrounding areas.

Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, clients, and crew members throughout each project. Complete daily reports, safety documentation, time sheets, and compliance paperwork accurately and on time. Travel to various job sites across the Sanford, NC area as assigned. Versatility and willingness to assist in multiple areas of the business are essential in our team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills, Abilities & Qualifications: Must be willing and able to perform physical field work alongside crew members. Must be able to pass an extensive background check to obtain DBIDS access for work on military installations. Must possess a REAL ID. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to report to assigned jobsites.

Ability to lead a crew while remaining an active, hands-on member of the team. Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to effectively coordinate crews and daily field activities. Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing project schedules and jobsite needs. Licenses & Certifications: North Carolina Asbestos Supervisor License or Certification required.

Additional lead, demolition, OSHA, or related safety certifications are a plus. Schedule: Full-Time hours. The schedule will depend on project requirements and availability.

Compensation

Range starts at $27-$30hr+ or more depending on experience plus OT at 1.5x. Plus, opportunity to grow up the scale on yearly review.
