Armed Security Guard

**Key Responsibilities**

Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security. Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and access points. Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and incidents. Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment. Document and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or breaches.

Control access to premises by verifying credentials and authorizing entry. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.

**Required Skills**

Valid armed security guard license and certification. Proven experience as an armed security guard or similar role. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.

Physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.

Must be at least 21 years old. Possess a valid armed security guard license for the state of Mississippi. Clean criminal background check. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
